Baltimore Ravens All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews did not "sustain any apparent injuries" after an early morning car accident on his way to the team's training facility on Wednesday.
The Ravens also announced that offensive line coach Joe D'Alessandris was hospitalized over the weekend for an acute illness that will require "ongoing treatment for an extended period of time."
Andrews, 28, was evaluated by the Ravens' medical staff and later joined the team for morning meetings. He was scheduled for a non-practice day Wednesday and "is expected to return to practice in the coming days," the team said.
"I appreciate everyone's thoughts and well wishes," Andrews said in a statement. "This is a great reminder about the importance of wearing seatbelts and remaining alert while driving a car."
No other details were given about the accident.

Andrews is a three-time Pro Bowl selection for the Ravens, who selected him in the third round of the 2018 draft.
He has 381 catches for 4,857 yards and 40 touchdowns in 87 career games (42 starts). He missed the last six games in 2023 after suffering an ankle injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 16. Andrews was hurt on a hip-drop tackle, which has since been banned by the NFL. He returned for the AFC Championship Game in January.
D'Allesandris, 70, has coached Baltimore's offensive line since 2017. His long coaching career dates to 1977 and includes time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and then-San Diego Chargers.
"Coach D'Alessandris is widely respected and cherished in our organization. As he focuses on his health, we offer him unwavering support," head coach John Harbaugh said.
"In the interim, we welcome George Warhop to our coaching staff. With expertise in guiding top-level offensive linemen, his dedication and strong character will continue to develop our offensive line during Coach D'sabsence."
Warhop, 62, began coaching at Kansas in 1984 and has served as offensive line coach for seven college and eight NFL teams, most recently the Houston Texans in 2022.
He was the offensive coordinator of the London Monarchs of NFL Europe in 1991-92.
